Instagram comment-to-DM automations

A comment-to-DM automation sends a direct message on Instagram to everyone who comments a keyword. Announce "comment GARALO and I'll send you the song" on a post, and each person who comments GARALO gets your link in their DMs, automatically.

What you need

An Instagram professional account (Creator or Business), connected on the Socials Automation screen with Connect Instagram. While Vanestream's Instagram connection is in Meta's app review, only accounts we've added as testers can connect; if connecting fails, that's why, and anything you drafted stays saved.

Set one up with the AI assistant

Ask in the chat, in your own words: "send my song link when people comment GARALO on my latest post". The assistant drafts it: the keyword, a short DM with the right link (your song's release page, or your homepage), and which posts it answers. Nothing sends until you turn it on from the review. Not connected yet? It still drafts it, tells you where to connect, and the same draft carries on once you do.

Which posts

• All posts: every post and reel, old and new.
• Chosen posts: only the posts you pick (for example your latest post).
• Future posts only: only posts you publish after the automation is turned on, never your current ones. You can also keep a few current posts on top.

Keywords and replies

A comment that contains the keyword matches, in any case (GARALO, garalo, "Garalo please"). By default the keyword counts anywhere, even inside a longer word, so LINK also catches "linkedin". Tick Match the full phrase only to count it only as its own word or exact phrase ("link please" and "LINK!" match, "linkedin" doesn't). Capitals never matter either way. You can add several keywords, an optional public reply under the comment ("Sent you the link!"), and more than one DM version to rotate.

Results

Each automation shows how many DMs it sent, and the send log lists who got one and any that failed. Ask the assistant "how is my GARALO automation doing?" for the numbers.

Pause or change it

Pause it any time from the screen or the chat; paused automations send nothing. Changing the DM or keyword of a live automation from the chat asks for your OK first.
